Fatimah & Sharifah

18102009 Heritage Photography Contest

行程: Masjid Jamed - Jln Masjid India - St. Mary's Cathedral - Merdeka Square - Sultan Abdul Samad Building - Central Market - Kuan Ti Temple - China Town - Chan Sze Shu Yuen - Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall - KYM Building - Kuala Lumpur Railway Station

The Wonders Of Kuala Lumpur - The Heritage Trail Photography Contest.

Penelope (Yr 2006)

Rating:★★★
Category:Movies
Genre: Romantic Comedy
last night, I have accidently bump into this movie in Astro, named - Penelope. This is a good story. Talking about this girl is born with a pig nose, and it was a curse many century ago in their family. The way to break the curse is to find a true love... as normal.

At the end, she cant find anyone, and decide to run away from family. And she started to accept herself as it is, and reveal her true face to everyone. One day, the curse just disappear. She return to his lovely face. By fact, the curse will only break when you love yourself as it is....

The story behind is so wonderful, before you ask someone to love you, you must first love yourself.. I think this is very important, isnt?

05102009 5th Day in Ayutthaya (off Bangkok)

Ayutthaya, is a another provience off Bangkok. Is the old city being fired and hidden in the forest for many years. The city is founded in year 1350 by King U-Thong. The ruins of the old city now form the Ayutthaya historical park, which is recognized internationally as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

First, we went to visit the Bang Pa In Palace. Is the summer palace for the king. The place being managed very well, everything is just so beautiful.

Second, we went to this historical ruins WatYaiChaiMongKhol & Wat Phrasisanpethi, you can see everywhere has being destroyed by fire and all the head of the Buddha is being cut off for selling that time.

After visit to all the beautiful place, we departed and bring transfer to a river cruise for lunch and back to Bangkok. thru Chao Phraya River. The food is nice and the view along the river is nice. We are sitting in the open deck, it is windy and nice.

About 3+pm, we reach Bangkok. Transfer back to hotel, and we take the BTS going to Platinum Mall and shop again........ crazy sister and all.....Next, we went to Central World, have dinner, and take train back to hotel.

Thats all for today, again, my leg is not my leg anymore... can hardly feel it.. ha ha! walk too much!

This is the last day of the trip, tomorrow going back to KL lo. All in all, the weather is too good to be true, and Thailand is so clean, and plp is so nice to us. I will definately go back again.

Tomorrow, I will want to go and visit a temple near my hotel, I pass by it by van and it look nice...

04102009 4th Day in Kanchanaburi (Off Bangkok)

Kanchanaburi, is a state off Bangkok. This place are famous due the the World War II, alot of war prisoner is killed of building the famous River Kwae Railway... Many story behind it.

The first place we visit today is the cemetry. I must said, Thailand is doing it well. The place are managed perfectly, and the most respect feeling you can ever imagine. They are thankful toward what they have did for them...

The next stop, is the War Museum. They are showing all newspaper, things that they found from the war time, drawing, etc. We go thru it, and feel really sad about it... why WAR???? but we will never get the answer.

Next, we reach to the famous River Kwae Railway or Bridge of River Kwae. Alot of plp say this is River Kwai, but the guide told us: Kwae = River, Kwai = Cow.... The railway are builded for the easier travel from Burma to Thailand at the WW II. Heard that more than 10K plp died because of this. Later on, the American boomed the place, and give freedom to all the war prisoner at that time. You can see from the photo, the bridge originally round in shape, only the middle part is square, which that is the part being boomed, and rebuilded later. Now they use this railway for local transport and for tourist visit.

We have the chance to take a train ride in this famous river kwae. The train is the old type, no air-con, wooden in some part. The train passby some padi fields, corn fields, etc, The view is fantastic, The highlight of the train ride is passing by the wodden bridge, look dangerous, but it safe.

OK, enough of war story right?

The second part of today, we went to visit the famous Tiger Temple. Which all tiger being rared by the monk. all tiger being bring to the Tiger Valley for tourist to take photo. I really amazed how they can do it. Before this trip, I have search online, they are story about the monk drug the tigers, so that the tiger is blur and do not attack, and they suggest us not to visit. But I insisted. After I pay the visit, I dont have such a feeling. The tiger is really active, and they are playing with the monk. The monk told us, they are not tiger, but BIG CAT.... You can see from the photo, they really play and communicated with them like a pets. It is amazing!

The weather today are not too bad, although have some rain when we finish the train ride, lunch and the tiger temple visit, but soon after awhile when we reach the tiger valley, the rain stop. I must say Im really lucky .....

At night, we walk toward Suan Lum night market, I must say the food there is "SUCK" and expensive, never try and eat there. But other than this, everything is good, stuff is cheap too, by condition: bargain......

01102009 First Day In Bangkok

This is our first family trip aboard in Bangkok. We got our air ticket a year ago with Airasia. Everything is fine, and we arrive in Bangkok 10 minutes earlier, that was wonderful.

Before the trip, there are a lot of unhappy news, Taifoon, earthquake, tsunami, and heard that Bangkok is raining everyday, but we still make it here...

The weather here is humid and a bit hot, hopefully the weather going to be "
not bad" for the next few days.....

Yesterday, we go to the Surowong street, to try the pork noodle, duck noodle.. It was so nice.... after the wonderful dinner, we went to the mart to get some mineral water, and we found some special stuff which we cannot find in KL, like some slice bread with milk, with kaya, with butter being put into a plastic bag and sell for 10BHT......hmmmm... wonder if it nice, will definately try it and tell u later......

OK, just woke up, and continue today journey, keep my finger cross for today weather. See ya!
