I'm back~~ wao~ what a fantastic diving holiday I have..... dive eat sleep...

Dive is super interesting

Eat is super yummy, cheap, freshest i ever had

sleep, sleep early, wake up early, healthy~

So many first sighting this trip.

Mandarin fish, skeleton shrimp, robust ghost pipe fish, pgmy pipehorse, flambouyant cuttlefish, pgmy cuttlefish, pgmy octopus, boxer crab, frogfish carrying eggs.....

Other than above, we have many turtles, orang utan crab, pipefish everywhere, all kinds of crab, shrimps, etc. I LOVE MABUL.. even more than Sipadan.

Besides the diving, FOOD is another one really interested me...

everyday, we have many Bajaus selling seafood at our place.

3 big flower crab cost us RM10

5 sliper lobster cost us RM35

the freshest seafood i ever had... super yummy....

we have that basicaly everyday.

then back to Tawau, we had my favorite prawn, lala, pork noodle, and tomyam..... Thanks To Leonard & Alex bring us around in Tawau.

We dive in Seahourse Mabul, great stay, great staff. They don our equipment for all dives, we don need to do anything, very pampered trip i had.

Ohh~ after all this happy thing, forgot to mention, I have killed my G10 by flooding it carelessly...sob sob!!
thinking what to get next....

I have a great holiday dive trip to end my 2012, hope I will have a great one coming soon~
gonna be dried on land for awhile.....

Is Diana turn, time for picnic, kids have some fun in the water, while adult eating all the way....after that, meesua at my house..

Then I prepare a special cake for Javien birthday.... for fun~ Happy Birthday lo~

1-4 Nov 2012 Closing Season Dayang Dive Trip

What a great closing season dive trip to Dayang.

Calm sea before the storm begin, group of rainbow runner, but whaleshark not arrive yet.. sob sob....... cuttlefish, scorpion fish, decorator crab, some tiny shrimps, etc.

This trip, we have new baby, Congratualation to Julia certified as Junior Advance Diver, and Faiz Rescue Diver.

We have 2 new fren joining us too, Zhen Yu & Shawn who did a discovery dive... hope to see you guys too next year for OWD ya~

We have once again, doing some clean up underwater, thanks to all divers on the trip. great work everyone. Dive Site: Pinacle, we have succesfully save a huge table coral, which already turn white. So happy to see some fishes back to the coral right after we took out the net. Awesome!!

A very nice and relaxing closing dive for 2012, nice to meet all new and old fren, and see you soon next year 2013....

Next destination: 29th Mabul/Kapalai.. really looking forward to my dive holiday.. yeah hoo~

27-28 Oct 2012 Zi Mui PD Trip

Diana came back for a visit from Australia.. bringing her Hicks family. 2 monsters... Noah & Zachy.... both are sooo cute.

We depart to stay at Tiara Beach Hotel for a weekend. The hotel is quite terrible, at first, booking online, never got confirmation email, chase many time, at the end, they just say, use the reference no. to check in. and then, after check in, the room is is very poor condition, we complain, they put us in another room, also not big different also.

We choose this Hotel, cos they have a big water park in the hotel, easier for the kids to play. but anyway, i think this will be the first and last time there.

We all have fun on the slide, especially Daniel & Diana, play like a kids. Besides water park, we have good food too.



22-24 June 2012 F1ing @ Pulau Tenggol

This is my first trip to Tenggol, always heard that it is a great place to dive, and still, after so many years, I have not step into the land. I just love Dayang too much I think.. hehe~

Finally, 2012, I did it. Due to the weather condition, we are basically F1ing with the current there, in the freezing cold water of 24’c…. with my 1mm wetsuit… Im freezzzzzzzzzzzing all the dive.

Dive with current is fun, but the cold water…. Hemmmm~ I don’t like it… anyway, it is a very good experience, and I think I can handle 20’c water now..

This trip, although the vis is not so good, we do see quite a lot of stuff. Group of batfish, bumphead, yellowmargin triggerfish, lionfish, stingray, turtles, nudis nudis nudis, etc.

Besides diving, this is a cari makan trip too.. before we reach Dungun, we stop by Temerloh R&R, tried their local delicacy Patin Buah cook in Tempoyak sauce (Fermented Durian sauce), I love it… but not the others~ they think that is sooooo smelly, weird, and rosak.. hahaha~ then after we reach Dungun, follow by BBQ Sotong / Fishes dungun style, yummy yummy….. next day breakfast with Nasi Dayang, and when we return from the island, Nasi Dagang / Nasi Minyak again… and then Satar/ Keropok Lekor for snacks… wao~ a trip full of food.

Thanks to Anwar & Nizam, Dungun’s boy, bring us find all the good food we never tried before…….

And thanks to all my dive buddiez, Jac, Cjian, Kit, Angel, Yumin, Michi, Watanabe, Dylan, Janet, Peter…

10062012 Zi Mui Picnic Day

我的好姊妹從美國回來了, 一直在安排要出去玩, 但是事與願違, 怎樣都很難把全部人集合起來.終於, 今天, 如願的.. 一起去郊遊.

從上次的經驗, 小孩, 如果不把食物, 變可愛, 他們可真不願意吃, 所以, 我特地從一些blog尋找.. 找到了溫馨小廚http://rachelhei.blogspot.com/
她超級利害… 我從中學了些, 排上用場. 果然, 小孩子都非常喜歡, 而且都把它吃完..開心ing.. 你們也可去偸師哦….. 謝謝溫馨小廚

這次, 我們重回舊地, Hutan Rekreasi Sungai Tekala @ Hulu Langat. 冰冷的小溪, 非常適合小孩玩耍, 而且超級安全.

我們到的時候, 所有的小屋都已經有人在了.. 我們只好把東西放到溪邊… 小屋的人都非常好, 請我們去坐呢~我們沒有, 一直站在冰冷的小溪里, 吃這東西, 追跑著小孩, 餵食… 累到~~~

我準備了, lollipop cheese bread, octopus香腸, 造型蛋, 等等.

就這樣, 玩玩吃吃的, 兩個小時, 就離開羅….. 接著, 到我家去吃麵線… 還滿意吧? 哈哈~ 謝謝我媽煮的.

19-20 May 2012 Suzanne Birthday Outing

This year, we have decide on 2d/1n trip to Morib+Tg Sepat. We book Gold Coast Morib, and cari makan at Tg Sepat.

First we arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, check in, and lepak at the hotel for awhile. Walk to the beach, then depart to our dinner place. Yummy seafood we had...u know what? eat until both of us, said: oh yeah~ finally finish... hahahah~ eating too much..

At night, we dip ourself in the jaguzzi in the room, oh no... not powerful enough, I went body massage instead... so relaxing~ that it.. good night d...

The next day morning, woke up by the noise from the water park. If you do want to have a relaxing day, ask them dont arrange your room facing the water park. We have decide to start our day with the hotel breakfast, check out, collect our pre-order BAO~

After we check out, the rain started, we decide to take a visit to the dragon fruits farm, quite far actually, we drive all the way to sepang, and found the place... not bad, we got out fruits, and had a tasty Gragon milk shake. Before this, we also make our way to potato chips factory and also got myself some tasty fresh fishballs.

After dragon fruits farm, we go and collect the "BAO", have a tea break, and proceed to the new location, bird nest factory, nothing much there yet, newly develop place. we took some photo, and proceed to have lunch... seafood again.... heheeh~

That it..... we ended our trip with the yummy seafood lunch, and that all for our 2D outing. always too short huh??

Happy Birthday Suzanne... where we go for my birthday? you got half a year to think... heheheh~

6-9 May 2012 遊山玩水在 KK之回家囉~

最後一天, 起了個大早, 到出名的富源, 嚐了它的麵包… 哇~ 還真的非常好吃…. 這是必吃. 然後, 我們向目的地出發… 漁港. 我們還是真遲, 他們都差不多收工了, 但是也見視到他們魚下船的壯觀的場面… 不枉此行.
然後, 我們就到 KK第一家生肉面吃第二輪… 哈哈…. 不錯, 但是也是Tawau比較好吃.. 看來, 我是中了Tawau毒了吧~ 吃完過後, 回飯店收拾, 等接送了… 回家了….

沒到機場前, 我們走了一些旅遊景點, 山上觀景台, 海港, 然後到 Tanjung Aru吃午餐….. 打發了一點時間, 就直接到飛機場…. 就這樣, 我們的4天3夜遊山玩水旅程就完畢了……..

6-9 May 2012 遊山玩水在 KK 之玩水篇

一早, 吃了早餐, 我們就到門口等接送, 這天, 我們要到美人魚島浮潛去．　是爸媽第一次嘗試浮潛. 第一次, 充分的感覺到, 癲到癡肺… 浪太大了…
現在回想, 難怪一上船, 我們的guide就問我們, are you ready to get wet? 還真的是全濕了. 哈哈…好.. 開始了….. 過程中, 我們還看見大群的海豚在海上跳躍呢… 超興奮!

我們坐了1hr 45m的車到港口, 然後坐了45分鐘的船, 到了mari mari lodge建的水上屋, 我們能在那吃午餐, 感覺滿不錯. 一到歩, 我們就去選蛙鞋, 然後就出發浮潛了. 海浪算是蠻大的. 我爸第一個下水, 才不到1分鐘, 他就投降了, 因為浪大, 第一次嘛, 難免會害怕. 然後, 輪到我媽媽了… 不錯…. 還能玩上30分鐘…… 就這樣, 看看小魚, 珊瑚, 沒什麼的, 我們就上船了… 浪實在是太大了…..特別是其他有穿救生衣, 都開始不舒服起來… 走走走.. 我們回去吃飯去…..

回到水上屋, 午餐已經準備好了.. 開餐囉…. 我妹還跟廚房要了煎蛋, 還有tom yam soup… 他們都很好的, 一一滿足我們…. 太棒了~

吃了午餐, 上演了跳水環節…. 哈哈~ 我妹想跳海, 但是不敢, 叫我陪, 我只好逢陪了…. 可惜她臨陣退縮….. 然後, 有一個員工, 在最後, 把她推下海, 超搞笑的…… 連我也被推了….. 謝謝她囉… 幫忙推一把~

過後, 因為浪大的關係, 我們都放棄了第二輪的浮潛, 決定到沙灘躺一回… 休息休息…. 差不多2點多, 我們就回了……回程, 當然少不了下雨, 還有全身濕透… 哈哈~ 到了碼頭, 我們才換上乾的衣服, 坐車回飯店.

梳洗一番, 等雨停, 我們出發找吃的. 我們走到Jalan Gaya, 嘗試了他們的大炒… 味道還不錯…..然後, 就走著走著, 喝咖啡, 就這樣, 又到睡覺時間了…明天要回家了…

27-29 March 2012 The Sinking Of KM Sipadan

This is a last minute trip, just heard from my fren that Tioman is having a sanking ship event, for artificial reef.. hmm~ sound interesting to me.. so I GO~
Drive in to Tioman on Tuesday, event day Wednesday, and back on Thursday.. kind of rush, but memorable….

This is the first time which I tried Nitrox air…. Hmmm~ I don’t really feel much different in the air, but its good that I have more bottom time at deeper depth…

Date: 28 March 2012

Event start with VIP speech, then follow by sanking of the Ship.

Ship: KM Sipadan (renamed from Sri Sarawak) is a retired navy ship, serving the navy for 48 years.
White top, with a little black bottom, quite a nice and big ship, to be the new home for many fish and coral.
The ship has been sank near Sawadee, off Tioman Marine Park.

As in their speech, this is the first time, they do the ship sanking, not much experience.
This time, They use water to sank the boat.

All went on well, after the water get into the ship, it started to sank, and very fast, its gone from the surface.

Right after the boat disappeared, we all dive in…… The Ship sank into 30meter bottom of the sea. Bow crash into the sand, and got up a big pile of sand on the bow area.
Becos of that, the stern of the boat has been leaved up around 2 meter from the bottom, hanging there in the mid water. I hope after awhile, the sand moved, the stern will lay down flat
So that the boat wont break so easily. Or maybe some local diver make some efford to help to remove the sand? :-p

The visibility is bad as expected, but we got the first hand view of KM Sipadan. Very special dive.. as many batfish come and visit their new home…
We have dive in, check out the boat for about 50 minutes, that about it..

Hope this work well to be a new home for fishes & corals. The result, might need to wait minimum 10 years gua..:-p

23-26 Feb 2012 Dayang Open Season

~I come back lo~

Wonderful weather with clear blue sky, super calm sea, superb visibility more than 25m, alot of marine life, such as bumphead, tuna, shark, cuttlefish with egg, giant travally, turtle, and many many different type of nudibranch, especially chromodoris, which u can see 10 of them at one pcs of rock.... awesome open season to dive to~

Beside the sunny day, we have wonderful night too, with many stars on the sky, and also in the water... many many blue sand wash up shore... really pretty~

This trip, me and Jac is taking the rescue course... I have been burn while acting a victim.. alot of practice need to do to perfect the skill.. hard work....
Besides us, 4 more Open Water Diver has been certified, congratualation to Cjian, Kak Lynn, Atiyyah and Cedric

Great start for 2012 diving, wish we have a wonderful year to dive in. less polution pls... Cheers~

11022012 Natalie's Discover Scuba

I have promise Natalie since she is 6years old, to bring her diving, and I always say, have to wait til 10 years old... now cannot....

A blink of eyes, she is 10 now... as promised, i have bring her to do a discover scuba today, she has a great time, of cause includes complaning why everything so heavy.. hahahah~

at the end, she laern how to snorkel as well....

A great experience for her... happy~ U did very well.

他的跳傘篇

10th Dec 2011 (Saturday)

今天一早, 三點半就起床了, 4點出門, 今天他跳傘的大日子. 地點在: 太平

好趕, 沒時間吃早餐, 就匆匆忙忙趕路去.. 八點中在火車站集合.

我們在R&R吃了點東西... 就直到那兒.

到了飛機場... 哈哈... 所謂的飛機場, 只不過是一片很大的草場... 好大好大~

然後, 就是briefing時間... 其實阿.. 是等飛機, 他們遲到了...

差不多9點多, 飛機到了, instructor再解釋飛機的座位, 誰先跳之類的.

這個跳法, 名叫static jump.. 就是, 沒人跟你一起跳, 3000呎, 從飛機跳下去, 有一跳繩子連到你的傘的開關, 差不多高度, 飛機的繩子就會幫你打開.... 然後, 你就各安天命了... 哈哈.....

他們有給walkie talkie.. 但是聽說都聽不清楚.... 你就照著你上學的theory, 自己來囉..

而我... 之前看了sample video, 不敢....

但是之後, 看見他們玩, 我就後悔了..... sob sob~

他在12人當中, 算是最棒的, 離target drop point最靠近的.. 所有的控制都非常好...

超棒~~ very proud of you~

下次, 我們再一起跳吧~

17-22 Nov 2011 Roach Reef & Sipadan Diving Trip

This is my first dive trip in Sabah, first dive trip in Sipadan, first dive trip in Roach Reef…. Very very excited.

My first sighting of:

1. Orang Utan Crab
2. Clown Triggerfish
3. Red Tooth Triggerfish
4. Bus wreck (Interesting bus wreck full of tayar…. 7 of busses creating a artificial reef, very successful)
5. Juvenile Dragonet
6. Juvenile Nudibranch
7. Dogtooth Tuna
8. Postlarval Spiny Lobster
9. Squat Lobster

Dive site visit:

Sipadan – Barracuda Point / South Point / Turtle Cavern

Real GEM of Malaysia, when I first step on the jetty, register myself.. I see lionfish swimming in mid water, travally, barracuda, etc…. wonderful startup of a day…..I know this is different dive experience I will ever had..

First dive trip In Sipadan, very lucky of us, we see almost all famous stuff in 1 dive… when we decent the first dive, thousand of jacks welcoming us… then follow by sharks… napoleon wrasse, and then big school of barracuda…… bumphead…..turtle….. what a wonderful dive……!!!!!

2nd dive, South Point, wanna search for hammerhead shark…. Although we didn’t see…… but 2 eagles ray come n visit us… they are at about 40m, I go all the way…oooppss~ haha.. too excited. Then follow by a big school of bumphead too…

3rd dive, the famous Turtle Cavern…. Scary & mystery place…. We just went into the entrance (cavern), feel of the darkness… phhewww~ I will not want to go in to the tomb.. imagine turtle also got lost… we are human leh…. Forget it la…. Hehehe~ safety stop time, we have thousand of jacks farewell to us…..

Roach Reef – Bus Stop / Corner / House Reef / Mid Rock / Viking / Twin Peak / Lobster Point

Roach Reef On Land, Roach Reef is a very small man made island, which have only 9 guest room… very very private and cosy place. We have a lot of good food.. from big fishes, crab, sotong, chicken, beef, wonderful BBQ night on Sunday, tea time, popiah banana – BEST!!, and plenty of biscuit & bread for our snacking 24 hours….. Although no air-con in the room, but its windy and comfortable enough with the ceiling fan…. HOT water shower is really good….. loving it…. Room is big and with a wooden platform, which you can have a afternoon snap there… or, many hammock is hanging under the coconut tree… very nice to snap in there… windy~

And about the staff there, FANTASTIC !!! I never had such a pampered diving trip before… no need to change tanks, staff help us to wear fins sometime, help us on wearing BCD… hahaha… sometime feel like a “Fei Yan”… hahaha….. very very attentive staff they have… Clap Clap x 1000 for them……

Roach Reef U/W; a lot a lot of macro stuff to see…. This is the first dive trip, which I see so many kind of shrimps… starfish shrimp, bubble coral shrimp, mushroom coral shrimps, cleaner shrimps, alien looking shrimps…. And many kind of Nudibranch, octopus, squids, scorpionfish, mantis, lobster, dartfish, goby, jawfish, and a lot a lot more…..

Great closing dive for 2011…….We are planning to go back there next year already… hahaha~
Will be dry for the next 3 months before open season…. Hang in there… cheers~

3-7 Nov 2011 End Season Dayang Dive Trip

Wao~ what a end season dive.... although not very good visibility, n no whaleshark or manta....... but we get to see quite some stuff too. Turtle, barracuda, travelly, cuttlefish, alot of nudi, baramudi, baby nemo, juvenile batfish...... n special guest - Demon Walker...

Not forgot to mention, funny to see Teak Chee & Yumin dragon dance show underwater... n weird to see a sucker fish attached to Nizam's body for the whole dive.....

Some of the photo of shooting of tiny fishes and prawn is using a new Inon micro lens... dont know how yet... practicing more~ gosh~ its hard....

Great closing for east coast... n looking forward to next week dive in Roach Reef & Sipadan...... Keep Diving~ oh yeah~

The MV Black Pearl is a 20m newly refurbished vessel that accomodates a maximum of 17 divers in twin & triple sharing cabins that feature individual controlled airconds. It also houses a spacious air-conditioned lounge, with DVD and karaoke system for extertainment purposes, and 2 common bathrooms equiped with hot shower units.

Details of Berhala Wreck:

The Gyoshin Maru (aka Berhala Wreck or Varella Wreck) is a tanker ship serving japan during worldwar II - 1944, not long after the serviced, she is sank by the US navy boat and broken into 2 pieces, lying in a depth of 11m to maximum 20m. Her anti-aircraft armament is still visible and the site is littered with a large quantity of live ammo that divers will need to avoid. Very beautiful wreck to dive in.....

and for Tioman, as everyone know, Tioman is famous of her colorful soft coral, and alot of underwater tunnel for you to explore... you will find our urself when you get there~
