Jellyfish Spotted In Dayang

Saw this cute little and scary one in Dayang when Im doing my safety stop. have to say, they are pretty, elegant creature.. but the stink is scary! hmmm!

This is just a fingertips small, but do not underestimate it power oh! stay away! ;-p

24-27 June 2010 Dive Dayang

Deu to the special tie condition, we have to reach jetty by 7pm (if normal time, is around 12midnight....), so we departed KL around 12pm, then follow by Curry Laksa Lunch in Senawang. The gravy is special and thinker... quite nice...

3 hours driving, then reach jetty d. waited for others, and aboard, and here we go - Dayang..... the weather a bit uncertain, big wave, some got seasick, vomit... but all survive the journey.. ha ha... we reach the island around 12.30midnight, about 5 hours boat journey... T-T

This trip, is Suzanne, Hee Kah, Edward, Dion & Jennifer Open Water Dive.... congratualation to all, all passed d... certified diver... ho ho ho!

Happy to dive with everyone here, and also so sad to see the coral bleaching quite serious in Dayang... a lot of coral turn to white... sigh.... the water tempeture last weekend are cooler, so, hope the coral survive lo.. gambateh!

This trip, vis are not bad, we see group of barracuda, a lot of my beloved nudibranch, bumphead parratfish.....etc.

And not forgot to mention, first time watching football in the island, beer, kua chi... nice experience.... and on the 26th night, there are moon eclipse too. first time saw it too...

There goes the 3 Day trip, very fast, a clips of eye, its all over! sigh.... looking forward to my next dive trip in August.. yeah!

Heart Breaking Moment Of Diving

Last weekend, went to Dayang island to dive.. Before I went, Nizam told me the coral breaching is pretty bad.. I cannot imagine how....

I reach there, first dive.. before I jump into the water, i already see white patches from the boat.. what is that? I wonder.... then only i release its all half dead corals... All from green, brown coral, and now become "WHITE".......

My god.. I hate global warming... I heard this only happen few week back.. suddenly the water tempeture increase by 1'C....and the coral breaching is getting worst...

I seriously hope that everyone is thinking seriously this time.. U can see, the coral is dying.. U also can imagine, how the world will be if the marine system went bad... and that will be end of world....

So, please start today, thinking of what you having now, and what you do to help to prevent this day to come. Try your best a little everyday, Im sure it will make a big different....

Come on guys! Help the world, and help youself..

辣椒仔燜魚頭@ 瓊香餐室

I have dinner at Medan Selera Kheng Heong 瓊香餐室  yesterday..just thought it will be a simple one....

We order a Lala Soup, Taufu, and Marmite Pork Ribs... thats all... then when we see the board, found this interesting 辣椒仔燜魚頭 @ Soya Sauce Chilli Stew Fish Head.... hmm! and my fren is really hungry... then we decide to give it a go...

When the dish arrive, wao! big plate leh! We have told the boss, we want small one only.... But anyway, we almost finish the whole plate of fish... it is Chinese Carp (Ikan Tongsan @松魚頭), a lot of fresh, very fresh, and the taste is really good... we are so full after the dinner..... hmmm! yummy! This big plate of fish only cost us RM25.. not bad ho!

Belanga @ The Garden, Mid Valley

Went lunch today, found this place on the center LG floor, between The Garden & Mid Valley. They served Northern Malay Food - Kelatanise.

I order a Nasi Dagang - Daging Rendang, and my fren tried Nasi Kerabu - Ayam Percik. The food is nice...

蕉赖四楼鱼头米粉

This is a branch from Cheras Taman "ikan Emas" 金鱼村。。。Is a famous fish head noodle.
Now, they open another branch here, The fish head noodle and fish paste noodle are really good. They add milk in the soup, its smell good.

WK Restaurant 旺记咖厘鱼头

Venue: Ulu Yam (Open Only Lunch Time)

Their famous dishes is Claypot Curry Prawn, Curry Fishhead...both are yummy.....  and the last is the Braised Pork, which I think is so so only...

Brussels Beer Cafe

Today, Is my first visit to this cafe. So co-incident, today is the first day of World Cup Kick Off Day, Wao! alot of plp nya.....

Hoegaarden is a Belgian Beer, with the flower smell.. nice... I think maybe only lady will like it. cos it very light.


Stella Artois is another type of Belgian Beer. Is a very nice and light beer as well.



We also did order some main dish.. This is PorkLoin...


and this is pork ribs.... nice wo! but a bit fat...

Pommes Frites Bistro - Belgian Mussels & Fries

Venue: Sunway, Asian Avenue

We have walk passed yesterday, and the dishes here smell good. then we decide to have a try.

We order a Garlic Mussel (come with fries), Spegetti with beef beacon in Parmessen Cheese, Mushroom soup... I was Impress with the way they cook the mussels, never had such a fresh, soft yet yummy mussels, it smell garlic, and the soup taste like seafood soup.. really nice! and talking about the fries, and the sauce, it was great.... and the spegetti not bad too!

I will definately go back there again.. this is over my expectation, that why I did not have the mussels in photo.. :-p  I will get it soon!

05062010 The Family Outing

Today, we went Ipoh to visit grandpa grave...Morning, we go Ipoh, have the famous dim sum, and tau fu fah there.. then next see our granpa... then back to KL for Dinner... Noble House. Great food, great karaoke... we all have fun!

28-31 May 2010 Ipoh & Penang Cari Makan Trip - Day 4

今天, 是我們旅程的最後一天, 玩阿! 快樂的時光過得特別的快, 一眨眼, 就過去了.

我們起了個大早, 要拍日出, 可是, 天空不作美, 雲好多, 我們就隨便拍拍, 就收拾行李, 準備離開了.

然后，我们去找了那家昨天本想要吃的咖啡店，还好，有找到，咖啡，鸡蛋，面包，赞！赞！

本想到極樂寺去, 但是天暗暗的, 決定不去了. 駕著車, 離開檳城....

然後, 前往Tg. Tualang去吃淡水大蝦, 這是Suzanne的生日禮物, 你終於吃到了. 雖然不是我們手拿的那個大的, 因為要預定的, 下次吧!
過後, 我們從老闆娘那兒得知, Trenor 端洛是在不遠處, 它是初戀紅豆冰的拍攝村落, 決定到那兒跑一趟...到了那裡, 發現真的很小, 只有兩條街, 太陽正大, 我們拍拍, 就離開了. 那兒的村民, 覺得特奇怪, 乾麻有兩位奇怪的人來拍照.. 要問, 不敢問的. 好笑!

之後, 因為怕回KL的時候塞車 (因為預計回到 KL 6點鐘, 可是放工時間), 所以, 我們決定到安順(Teluk Intan)去吃出名的豬腸粉, 拍拍斜塔. 這斜塔怎麼看, 都不知道斜那個方向, 好! 決定自己拍個很斜的.. 哈哈.. 白癡!
然後, 找了一檔, 吃了雲吞面, 豬腸粉, 炒粿條.... 不錯也! 之後, 還帶走幾盒豬腸粉給家人當早餐....

是時後回家了, 載Suzanne回家, 我到家差不多9點鐘, 難免不了有點塞車, Haiz... KL嘛!

就這樣, 完成了我們4天3夜, 拍照找吃團.... 好relax, 吃得好爽哦..... 幾時能再這樣呢? 哈哈! 希望不會太久啦!

28-31 May 2010 Ipoh & Penang Cari Makan Trip - Day 3

早上起來, 9點鐘, 收拾行李, 準備跟Jason & Wife碰面, 環島游囉....

開始, 我們到Campbell Road, 本想吃生熟蛋, 跟烤麵包, 怎知道, 竟然沒有開門. 我們只好到附近的老字號-桃園吃點心去, 不錯也.

吃完了, 走走, 拍拍老街.. 然後, 就開始我們的環島游了.

之前, 很多地方都跑過了, 我們就決定到Tg, Bungah的Toy Museum走走去. 哇! 好多公仔哦. 但是, 排列得不整齊, 而且沒有任何的介紹, 有點失望, 他們能做得更好. 收費不便宜也, Malaysian收RM10, 外國人收RM20哦.

在這期間, 下起了雨, 到我們完成了參觀, 雨就停下來了, 天氣也比較涼快, 我們就繼續開車前往我們預定的海邊住宿 - Boomerang Hotel (Batu Ferringgi)

過了Park Royal酒店, 轉右, 我們就到達了, 雖然路牌不大清楚, 讓我們提著行李跑東跑西得, 但最後, 我們是找到了.. 踏著沙, 走到小小的reception, check in, 然後把行李放到房間裡面去.
房間是seaview的, 蠻美的, 躺在床上, 可以看見大海. 藍天白雲, 好漂亮. 這小型酒店, 是外國人在管理的, 懶懶洋洋的態度, 好有度假feel.

過不久, 我們又再出發了, 到Balik Pulau去, 吃榴槤跟有名的Asam Laksa, 荳蔻汁. 榴槤好正也! 我們吃的是604種, 味道不錯.

然後, 我們到檳成唯一的稻田區拍照.... 下雨也! 我們就隨便拍拍, 就跑回車上, 準備到Bukit Genting Thai Restaurant去了..

Bukit Genting, 是個小山坡, 可以看見漂亮的海灣線, 可惜, 是下雨天, 一片濛濛的, 看不到日落了. 但是, 那裡的泰國餐, 蠻不錯的, 特別是TomYam, 正!

吃完了, 我們就下山了, 經過路邊榴槤檔, 又停車, 再吃一番. 這次, 我們嚐了葫蘆, 紅蝦... 還是紅蝦好吃.....

就這樣, 我們完成了檳城環島游... 把Jason和太太載回jetty, 我們就駕車回到酒店去. 沖涼, 吹吹風, 談天, 就這樣, 睡著了.

明天, 是回去的時候了.....捨不得!

28-31 May 2010 Ipoh & Penang Cari Makan Trip - Day 2

第二天，　我們決定睡到自然醒．．．　哈哈！　也不過是１０點鐘．．可能是老了吧，　睡不久．

收拾了行李，　我們就check out, 駕車到怡保舊街場去．．離上次阿Sam帶我去，　應該有差不多兩年了吧．．一直都沒去過．　想念那裡的味道．

我們去那家－新源隆茶室, 吃了好好吃的雞蛋烤麵包，上面，　放了兩顆半生熟蛋，　超級棒！　然後，　鴛鴦茶，　白咖啡，　客家面，　Nasi Lemak, 牛肉湯，　牛油加央烤麵包，　煎堆，　等等．．　好多吧？

吃了飽飽的，　我們就出發到檳城去了．．

到了檳城，　首先，　我們去參觀了著名的蛇廟，　就在今天，　重新開張．之前聽說是裝修呢．　這是我第一次到蛇廟，　沒有想像的多蛇．　我不怕，　但是Suzanne就怕得不得了．．哈哈！　超搞笑的．
過後，　我們就到Chew Jetty Homestay check in 去．．．好特別吧！　第一次，　嘗試住在Jetty上，　水上人家，　木屋，　廁所是原空的，　在裡面做什麼事，　都會到大海哦．．　好原始吧？

走走，　拍拍，　我們就再出發，　回到Juru, 找Jason去，　他和太太會帶我們到Bukit Tambun吃海鮮．．　好出名的喔！　先謝謝Jason & Wife 的陪伴．．．

我們到了Jason家，　就坐一輛車，　到Bukit Tambun 義成海鮮樓去吃．．．一進門，　我們就看見了鱉．．我只有在電視看見過．．沒想到，　這裡也有．
我們叫了好多食物，　酸甜炒蟹，　清蒸魔鬼魚，　Kerabu鱉，　姜蒸帶子，　清蒸賴尿蝦，　刺螺，　沙爹，　咸魚炒米粉．．．多吧？？

第一次嘗試焗鱉，　其實，　它沒有肉可以吃，　只有蛋，　咸咸的．．我只嚐嚐味道．　可憐Jason, 嗑完整盤．．然後就是刺螺，　不錯吃．．．我們一共吃了百多元，　很便宜喔！

之後，　就到Jason家，　談天說地去．．　談得不知道夜黑，　很快的，　已經到了１１．３０晚上，　我們就趕快會到檳城去了．．．還走錯路呢．．．　哈哈！

回到jetty, 已經是半夜也，　趕快洗澡，　然後拍拍晚上的屋外景色，　就去睡覺了．．　可憐的我，　睡不著啦，　床太硬了，　枕頭太扁．．就這樣，　轉阿轉，　就到天亮了．．

明早，　我們就要去檳城環島遊了！

28-31 May 2010 Ipoh & Penang Cari Makan Trip - Day 1

因為怡保的曬大佛, 我們倆就乘機, 排了幾天找吃團, 說什麼團?? 哈哈... 只有我們兩個人而已........專門找好吃的..

怡保和檳城, 是著名的美食天堂, 我們也找了蠻多的資料, 謝謝阿Sam介紹的怡保美食, 跟Jason的檳城美食..... 我們吃到不能停下來..... 又是時候要減肥了.. 天阿!

這趟的旅程, 我們走了1211 KM......

KL - Ipoh - Tambun - Ipoh - Penang - Tg Tualang - Tronor - Teluk Intan - KL

暈頭了吧? 我的照片, 會一天一天的介紹..... 放心! 哈哈!

加上買手信的錢, 一人花了RM600上下, 蠻划算的!

好! 找吃團出發!

28號一早6點鐘, 接了 Suzanne, 本來說要找一檔Kepong魚丸粉吃的, 怎知道, 還沒開, 太早了啦..... 沒辦法, 我們就到了麥記, 先填飽肚子, 才出發到怡保.

到了怡保, 大概9點鐘, 我們先到萬里望 (Menglembu), 找到了有名的海南包 - 財安園茶室, 吃了它的加央糯米飯, 海南菜包, 叉燒包, 雲吞, 水餃, 鴛鴦茶......它的包子, 面皮好Q, 嚼起來, 很不錯.... 加央糯米飯我個人覺得太甜了...(我的意見不中肯, 因為我不是甜食的愛好者...)

之後, 我們就到了Tambun參加曬大佛儀式....

差不多2點了, 肚子好餓.... 我們趕緊到怡保的Excelsior Hotel check in, 然後就走路去找吃的...

首先, 我們到奇峰豆花店, 一吃, 不得了... 太滑, 好香... 我可吃了兩碗, 然後再帶走兩碗呢! 然後, 我們到對面的達成鹽焗雞, 帶走了一只.... 就趕緊回到酒店大嗑去! 鹽焗雞不太咸, 剛剛好.....豆花, 豆漿好好喝, 但是實在是太貪心了, 豆花都吃不完!!!

吃得好飽, 然後決定到極樂洞拍照去.......洞里面好美...從1970年開始的....
拍了一會兒, 就回飯店洗澡休息一會兒, 就再出發吃晚餐去....

本想嚐嚐高溫街的雞, 但是沒開門, 不曉得, 是否跟它無緣, 每次都吃不到.. 然後, 我們就到安記吃.... 好多人, 東西不錯吃!!

就這樣, 就過了一天了....

明天, 我們會出發到怡保舊街場, 然後到檳城了....

28052010 曬大佛

這是怡保打們 (Ipoh, Tambun) 心意佛院一年一度的曬大佛儀式.

去年得知這項特別的儀式, 特地預備今年到那裡走一趟.... 一早, 我們就駕車前往怡保, 靠著multiply其他會員的地圖, 蠻容易的, 找到了這地方.....

我們大概早上10點多到達, 那裡, 已經很多人了, 攝影者也很多... 我可是第一次去藏傳佛教的廟里, 喜歡那裡掛的祈福旗子, 布條, 顏色都採用得很鮮豔.... 然後, 就是轉經輪, 原來, 不重的, 好有西藏feel.... 那是我夢想要去的天堂....

他們有幾次的祈禱儀式, 背佛像的, 轉運的.... 然後我們等了蠻久了, 重頭戲 - 曬大佛 就在差不多1點鐘下午開始了.... 天氣可是熱得可以.... 等著大佛唐卡出游福澤人群....

盼了好久, 唐卡終於被幾十人抬了出來, 跟著就慢慢的捲開來, 哇! 好大也!
我們在樓上拍了全景, 就立刻跑了下樓, 也去熱鬧一番...

拋的拋, 摔的摔, 就是要把唐卡的灰塵揮掉.... 我弄的時候, 也把眼睛閉起來, 好可怕的... 往臉上飛過來的沙粒和灰塵, 真不是蓋的.... 我應該吸了不少吧.. 哈哈!

過不久, 他們讓我們把唐卡轉一圈, 象徵性的轉運, 好運連連阿....

就這樣, 曬了一下... 每個人都汗流滿身的... 終於, 師父們就說, 可以把唐卡捲起來, 然後, 浩浩蕩蕩的, 抬回去廟里頭.... 就這樣, 結束了有名的曬大佛儀式了....

好特別的儀式, 我希望我能到西藏, 親眼目睹這樣的曬佛儀式, 應該會更壯觀吧!
